Moonlight Terms Of Service


By issuing a payment or transaction to Moonlight Team ltd. you (the client) automatically agree to the Terms and Conditions that I or anyone under me provide. You are subject to comply with anything regarding the TOS.

Each individual freelancer handles their projects differently, so we cannot guarantee that any project files will be saved after a commission is finished, so it is the client’s responsibility to make sure everything is correct before you alert our managers to complete everything. You are always welcome to open a support ticket if you have any issues, and we will do our best to help where we can.

The TOS may change at anytime and that you are expected and responsible to read the updated TOS and automatically agreed to any further updates to the TOS by agreeing to this. All products will fall under the current version of the TOS. Moonlight is not responsible for the misunderstandings you may have if you don’t read through this, purchase a product from us, and then have issues with anything regarding anything mentioned above. Any questions or concerns regarding the TOS should be made BEFORE a purchase or transaction of any sort otherwise you automatically agree to the TOS.

Client’s Rights

As a client you are allowed to choose any freelancer to work for you. You must keep all communication inside the tickets in order to protect both the freelancer and the client. Moonlight is not responsible for any deadlines that are missed because the client has not responded. You are responsible for keeping up with your tickets. If you are having difficulty contacting your freelancer, please do not spam ping them. Contact the managers and we will take care of it for you.

Any attempt to contact and or hire a freelancer outside of Moonlight can result in a permanent ban. Our freelancers are under an agreement with Moonlight ltd; therefore they are not allowed to do private commissions if you found them through us. After leaving our service team, they cannot be hired until a year after their contract has ended. This ensures our services keep running smoothly so we can keep providing excellent service to everyone.

All minecraft builds are exclusive to the client, this means you and only you will have this map. Maps do not automatically come with resell rights; therefore you are not allowed to resell any of the builds commissioned from us unless defined beforehand by the Freelancer. Extra charges may be applied upon the freelancer’s discretion. If you want resell rights on any build, you must make sure to indicate that at the beginning of your ticket. When you buy those rights, then you may do anything to the product as long as Moonlight still gets credit.

Reselling without any rights is prohibited! Anyone found in an attempt to do so can and will result in legal action. Anything that is built for you by any Freelancer apart of Moonlight, can and may be showcased on any platforms of social media including, but not limited to: Built By Bit, Twitter, Instagram, Discord, and Planet Minecraft. You are allowed to choose to have your build non-exclusive in order to get a lower price quote. Just alert the managers via your ticket. If you do this, the freelancer is allowed to redistribute this product wherever they choose. This includes where and how much.

The client is allowed to change freelancers at any time during the order as long as no work has been started. If a freelancer is unresponsive for more than 3 days, then the managers will review and re-post your ticket after doing their best to contact the freelancer. Please understand that some of our freelancers are located in countries that may be under political stress and might not be able to respond. It is the freelancer’s responsibility to indicate so.

All freelancers are required to deliver their product on time and communicate all changes and updates. Any failure to do so will result in deductions from the freelancer’s pay which in turn will go back to the client as credits for their next purchase. Moonlight is not responsible for the lack of description from any customer regarding their order. Anything not described or discussed before pay can result in an extra charge if more is requested from the freelancer than originally quoted.

Any tickets opened, will automatically close within 24 hours if the client is unresponsive for more than 3 days without notice. If an order has been completed, and the product delivered, we request confirmation that the product is satisfactory before officially completing the ticket. But if there is no response or confirmation within 5 days of delivery, we will automatically complete the ticket. After that you have 48 hours to report any issues with the product, afterward we cannot guarantee that any files are saved and can be recovered for fixing.


Payments

Payments will be listed in a PayPal invoice and stated in the ticket you opened to order. They will be non-refundable unless there are specific conditions to which you may contact management for a ticket review. Moonlight requires at least a 50% down payment of the full price before beginning work on any project. This payment goes to the full bill. 50% just insures that the buyer is serious about ordering. Custom products will not be provided until the full payment has been sent.

Freelancers reserve the right to charge extra if you decide to change, add on to, withdraw during the completion of the order especially if not described in detail at the creation of a ticket. The client is responsible to explain anything is misunderstood and not made clear before any payment is taken or the above may be applied by the Freelancer’s choice as long as it is a reasonable agreement. Any on-site minecraft build requests must be paid in full as well as any charges below $10.

Crypto payments will work similarly with at least 50% down payment before work is started on the project. Crypto currencies accepted can be discussed. We are not responsible for any holds placed on your accounts for payments. If a transaction takes longer, we will wait the full time until it’s received to count it as complete or sent.

When you do not pay the 50% deposit at the beginning of the order after the freelancer and client have settled on a price; and you are ready to start; your order will automatically be canceled in 5 days unless a delay in payment is indicated. If you are unable to pay the last 50% after your order is completed, the product will be held up to 5 business days and then it may be repurposed unless you have notified management with proof it will take longer for your funds to go through.

If you have not provided funds, left the discord, or not responded within that time frame; unless otherwise notified; your product and the rights to it will be turned over to the freelancer to do with as they like after 180 days. Charge backs are not allowed without reason. All ticket information is collected and can be used against you if you choose to try this. Please contact management first so we can work something out.


Refunds

All sales proof is recorded which is why it is best to keep all communication. It can and will be used against you if needed. If a client cancels their order before the completion of the product, the invoice will be canceled but the first 50% will not be refunded in any case unless there has been no progress started. If 50% of the payment or more has been issued, and you (the client) fails to respond after 7 days, you will not be issued any refunds. Multiple attempts to contact the client will happen within those 7 days. If there are no responses then we will consider the order abandoned. Charge backs are not allowed. If work has been done on your project you will not receive a full refund if at all. This will be determined by the management.

All tickets canceled or closed for any reason will have a percentage refunded via Moonlight Credits to be put towards your next purchase unless otherwise reviewed by the management. If you break the TOS, Rules or break the Law, your commission will be closed without refund or credits.

To use credits for any ticket in the future, please make sure to indicate to the managers you would like to do so.


Final Statements

Moonlight reserves the right to deny, reject or terminate our services if you are in denial of the TOS. If you have created a ticket on our discord, and don’t respond to the ticket within a week, the ticket will be deleted without notice. Moonlight reserves the right to charge 15% for our handling fees which pays our management, hosts our bot, improves the quality of our services, and goes back to the clients for events such as giveaways, credits, and more. That percentage will also be applied with the paypal fees after the quote. Any issues with this terms of service can be discussed.
